What’s your why?


Motivation determines action. Why do we do what we do? There’s always a reason.


Why do we choose to wake up at 5 am to do work versus sleep in? Why do we choose to exercise after work rather than go straight home?


Why exercise? Is it to be able to keep up with your children? Is it to be able to play sports on the weekend? Or simply to be healthier and feel better?


There’s no wrong answer, but it helps to understand your motivations.


By the same token, why don’t we exercise? Is our work schedule too hectic? Do we have too many other obligations? Do we just not care?


There’s always a reason, or an excuse. But let’s understand those better.
