A Maryland native, I am very excited to be joining the Wilmington Strength & Conditioning / CrossFit Wilmington staff. I graduated from the University of Maryland in 2011 with a B.S. in Kinesiology. My passion for health and fitness stems from a history of family medical problems and the self-disciple and perseverance I gained from being a collegiate athlete. I have worked with a variety of clients including youth, collegiate, and triathletes. As well as, medically diagnosed clients post ACL, patellofemoral pain, and rotator cuff. I believe that through correct movement patterning and proper mobility and stability principles, I can help build strength in individuals and assist in obtaining their goals. We are very happy to present Sara C. as the newest professional on the WSC / CFW Instructor Staff.  At CrossFit Wilmington and Wilmington Strength we value diversity.  We are always excited to have collegiate level athletes on our team.  Sara’s extensive athletic background and unique experiences are multipliers we are very proud to add to our corporate resume.  Sara will be teaching WSC classes and CFW classes.  She is also available for personal training.

    Welcome Sara! I am also a Sara C, so I’m sure that won’t get confusing for anyone. 😉

    FYI, the tough mudder was awesome, and if you see anyone in the gym with a sweet orange headband on this week, it’s because they ROCKED IT this weekend in South Carolina. If you think it’s something you might ever do, ask one of us. We aren’t looking like tools just for fun… maybe.

    When Sara contacted us about opportunities for her at WSC / CFW I was excited. I realized what having an experienced strength coach on staff with all the background and perspectives of a NCAA and three time ACC champion would be a great compliment to our staff. The bonus… all the background and perspectives of a female champion.

    I see Sara aiding us greatly in improving our programs for developing our lady members’ fitness and strength.
