Saturday from 12pm ’til 4pm, Extreme Outfitters is having their annual Veteran’s Day Event.  They have an expo and a huge sale.  They support all CrossFit Wilmington’s fundraisers.  A few of us are leaving CFW at 11am to go up and see all the gear the have.  If you’re in the market for Inov-8s or Vibrams, they have all the latest.

    Great job 6am crew!

I know these long Friday workouts can be frustrating for those of us who have to get to work. If I’m on a tight schedule I try to go as hard as I can for as long as I have, and get as much done as I can. Sometimes that’s the best you can do. Just remember that we’re all here to improve, that we all have other things on our plates, and that we’re all human. Our trainers do as much as they can to make everything work perfectly, but they’re human too. Part of life is adjusting to less than optimal conditions, and I think we need to keep that in mind. But props to Tanner for running a big class in a long workout by himself, and getting us through it. I had a great time, and most importantly, HAPPY VETERAN’S DAY to all who serve.

What a killer today!! Great job to everyone that did this thing and a major props to Tanner for getting us through it! Also for fixing the length of the walking lunges! Sort of glad that was the last thing I came to or my legs would have been to far into jello mode to finish any of the rest. 😀

Thank you Tanner for keeping us going into the right direction and for the extra push you give us when we need it each and every 6am class.
Happy Veteran’s Day to everyone who is serving or has served our country!

Thank you to every Veteran that I know personally in the gym. I sincerely look up to you and appreciate you!
Looking forward to running this puppy at 1230! Who’s with me??!

Good stuff 6 and 9 am crew. Sorry for the slow/hectic start this a.m. I got a bit flustered with all the equipment and such, my apologies. Great push on a really tough workout.

  6. Tanner says:

Also, I want to say thanks to all the vets, I have many close friends both here and from my hometown that are in the military. I can’t thank you all enough for all you do.

Julie G — when are you coming back to play?

On a side note, I selfishly thought to myself “Man it’s way too windy to do these wods!” Then I thought holy crap you ungrateful POS….so many that you know – past and present – have endured far worse conditions than a little wind to secure your freedom.

So, to our veterans, thank you – I will be thinking of you as I run against the wind today!

can’t wait to do these workouts, Happy Veteran’s Day to all, past and present. Thank you for your service and for our freedom! Semper Fi

That workout was an a** kicker… literally. Lunges were no joke.

Being a veteran is an honor and a privilege. Most appreciate the thanks, but the most honorable need, nor ask for any thanks.

Ironically, many of our military don’t get today’s holiday off.

Great and fun workout today! Thanks Tanner for the help with my bar. When I first read this I thought I got to pick which one I wanted to do. How can I still be so foolish to think such a thing after almost 3 years at CFW. I missed a couple of morning crew today, not going to mention any names….. Maura, Misty, Nat, Mike :} Gene gets a by because he’s out of town. Thanks to the veterans!!
