One Arm Burpee? Hunter modifying today's WOD. Hunter is 2 weeks post-op shoulder surgery and scaling the work outs around his recovery. We wish you a speedy and full recovery Bro!

We’ve so much on the radar this spring.  It’s going to be a fun time.

CFW is all about helping you get fit to do all the fun things you want to do… better.  If you’re participating in a race or event, please let us know.  We want photos and your times so we can post.

Below are a few things on our schedule…

Hunter was also practicing waiter lunges with 45 lbs with his good arm. Funny thing is… I didn’t even think twice about it… cause that’s the dedication of our athletes!

  2. josh says:

Welcome to the world Hank, all 8.7 lbs of you! Both he and Amanda are doing great. According to Joe, Amanda wanted to give birth for time and she finished in 15 min flat. Good thing it wasn’t an AMRAP

  3. sara! says:

if it was an AMRAP, we’d be kind of frightened – free babies to everyone!

    Congratulations to the Wellivers!

Also, CrossFit Girls’ Brunch was a hit! We’re thinking about making this a monthly deal, and each time choosing somewhere new to expand our culinary horizons! We’ll keep everyone posted!

One more thing – I’m going to round up some people, and we’re going to do a Paleo potluck dinner at Casa Del Fuego (me and Miah’s house) late April/early May. We have a nice, big, private backyard with a patio, so it will be BYOB/Pepsi and let’s eat some MEAT!

I’ve been having problems logging into the CrossFit games site all week and I know they are working on it. If I can’t log in today will it not be counted?

  5. Tracy says:

Congrats to the Wellivers!! Very excited for you guys!! Hunter you never cease to amaze me!! Good work! How did the O Run go in SC yesterday?!

  6. t. says:

Congratulations Amanda and Joe! Welcome Hank!!!
Amanda is should be featured in a pregnancy journal or something. She set a new standard.

The O Run was a fun. The obstacles where nice and plenty of them.

We did pretty good for having only one “runner” on the team… 7th place is the last I heard.

Melissa probably wished she had runners on her team. Instead she got a fat weightlifter, a broken ol’ Marine, and a CrossFitter. That said, we did very well.

Amy Argo got conned into it last minute and that chica laid it out. I don’t think she’s ever ran more than a 5k (if that), much less a 4 mile course with 15 obstacles.

I have to say, I now think Oly Lifting is great for running. Ha. I’ve only been doing training for weightlifting since the Carolina Challenge. Not only have I not ran, but I’ve only done 6 CrossFit WODs since then. Good fun!
