CrossFit Wilmington’s powerlifting club, Port City Power, competed at the Pounds for Puppies mock meet in Charleston, SC this past weekend. The team – comprised of Andrew S, Andrew B, Jeremiah, and Thomas –  all posted personal bests in the squat, bench press, and deadlift. Their totals are as follows:

Andrew S: Squat – 405 Bench – 275 Deadlift – 375 — 80 lb total PR
Andrew B: Squat – 400 Bench – 245 Deadlift – 455 — 100 lb total PR
Jeremiah: Squat – 375 Bench – 250 Deadlift – 405 — 100 lb total PR
Thomas:    Squat – 500 Bench – 295 Deadlift – 545 — 65 lb total PR

All four have been dedicated to their training and have been putting in some serious work in the power racks. Here’s a video of some of the lifts from the weekend. Congrats guys!

    I appreciate the love everyone. I’m proud of the guys. They really put in some great work throughout. Thomas hitting his first 500BS was awesome. Jeremiah and Benton both smashed it, even though they only came in during the middle of our training cycle. I expect big things from all three of them over the next 10 week cycle.
