Kettlebell Course June 23rd
We are hosting a Kettlebell Course with Pete Boby next Saturday, June 23rd from 9am to 3pm.  Learning to properly implement kettlebell training will aid in Crossfit workouts as well as travel workouts where no other equipment is available. The kettlebell is a great tool due to its small size and versatile exercise capability. Kettlebell proficiency is a valuable skill in the general physical preparedness repertoire .  Sign up sheet is on the whiteboard in the lobby.

WSC instructor Fletcher spots Lauren P in the bench press. Fletcher and the rest of the WSC instructors are very knowledgeable in weight lifting movements and are available for many of the CFW classes to aid in the lifting portion of our workouts. Introduce yourself and feel free to ask questions if you see them around!

    It is funny this post comes today…just yesterday I was working on some oly drills as part of a program I am following and had some questions with regard to proper technique. As a CFW member, with reservation, I asked James of WSC for help; I have seen James put some major weight over head with lighting speed (so who better to ask). Although he was with other clients, he took about 3 times the amount of time I was expecting with added information. As a result, I completed the movements with more efficiency and confidence than the previous sets. I appreciate the commitment to teaching…

    Welcome WSC coaches. I always enjoy listening to other coaches and perspectives. My favorite is hearing members helping members with tips that have helped them. We have so many coaches and trainers with various backgrounds. Use the knowledge and variety. Make use of strength coaches, oly coaches, yoga instructors, exercise sci majors, etc. We can all grow from learning from one another.
