Thanksgiving Hours:
Thursday, Thanksgiving Day – Closed
Friday – Gym Closed – Workout at the Wrightsville Beach Loop at 11am.
Saturday – Regular Hours

Chip Deadlifting from a riser. Chip hit a new Deadlift PR of 400lbs a week ago... a huge congrats there! Chip has also PR'ed all the other slow lifts and the Oly lifts by significant weights since joining CF Wilmington. Every benchmark/named CF WOD we've done he's seen huge improvements on. Chip is a great example of what improved, more efficient technique and a more intense environment will do for your fitness.

CrossFit WOD

Front Squat  12 – 12 – 12 – 12
Shoulder Press 12 – 12 – 12 – 12

Sled Push 5 x 25m w/ 1 minute recovery between efforts (white + 95lbs / red+50lbs)

    Chip,
We’re happy to have you and the rest of Breakfast Club with the AM Crew. You guys are a pleasure to train with and your accomplishments since coming here have been phenomenal. Thanks for giving us the opportunity.

Best wishes on the surgery Bro.

Nicely done CHIP!!! I’ve had the pleasure to work with Chip for a while now and as much as I dislike early mornings I was always pumped after an early morning of working with him. Looks like I need to suck it up and get in some early mornings with you guys! An Inspiration in the gym, a great guy and needless to say a stud. Keep up the good work Chip and good luck on your surgery. I’ve seen you bounce back from a lot worse so I have no doubt you’ll come back even stronger!

I would say I was in Ron, but that would mean I would have to shop! You know that’s not going to happen.

Chip, you will be in my thoughts and prayers. Let us know if you need anything at all.

Chip-You always give 100% and I feel lucky to workout beside you over the past 2 years. I’ll never forget last winter after your eye surgery you came back and bled through 100 pullups never giving up!

When you are trying to figure out how much to do today, you can do just a little more than you think. After I got done, I wish I had gone with another 10 pounds. If you want more…..

Can we tawk? Chip, you rule, but I am going to change gears to express to everyone how much I am looking forward to Saturday with ALASTAR http://alastartds-c.com/. I am almost giddy on so many levels! Stress reduction for one, we have been doing a software upgrade for over a week at work and I can’t wait to shoot Peachtree accounting software in the proverbial face with every shot. More than stress busting, I am looking forward to creating new neural pathways in my brain! And of course, learning how to protect myself. No, really, the best part has been telling people at Gibson’s pre school (fat people who compete for the parking space closest to the door) that I am about to do some intense tactical training. I will let you know how it goes, I am pretty sure I’m going to love it. Doing something new is so under rated! And hard. It can be intimidating, especially when there are guns involved, but it is the most important thing. I know because I’ve researched it. Burning new neural pathways is a physical challenge and exhausting. I once switched my computer monitor to the other side of the desk and my filing cabinets to the other side and it was an exhausting week. I went home more exhausted than I had been in years. Ok, that’s how excited I am, the longest blog post I have ever left.
