Sunday “Ladies” Fun Day Recap
A big thank you to all of the ladies that came out to our fundraiser for Kimberly. I am sure that Kimberly and her family are very appreciative for all of the donations. Our fundraiser alone brought in $770 for Kimberly’s medical bills. Kimberly is a 12 year old girl suffering from a rare type of brain cancer. Her family says that she is strong and determined to beat her diagnosis.  She reminds me of all of our strong ladies at CFW.  I felt honored and proud to be amongst 25 beautiful, strong women.

Sunday Funday was not just a fundraiser; it was a day full of lady beasts enjoying working out together. We stepped out of our comfort zones and did workouts that seemed cheesy, but were super fun.  Cardio kickboxing, ab sessions, booty sessions, Olympic lifting, a Crossfit WOD, and yoga were several of the perks. We also had body fat analysis, athletic photos, sauna time, and delicious food.

Thank you to everyone who came out and donated time, money, expertise, and yummy food. We are all very blessed to be surrounded by such strong women.

We send our love, prayers, and beastliness Kimberly’s way.

Meagan did a great job putting the event together! I now know the secret to Dawn’s 185# snatch. My butt and abs are in better shape after the sessions with Amanda and Melissa. Let’s not forget Taylor for making those delicious dark chocolate covered pretzels and Renee for the blueberry cobbler. And thank you lululemon at north hills in Raleigh for donating the bag for the raffles. I had lots of fun today with all you ladies! 🙂

Nice work Brian. Next time make it look a little harder haha.

Ladies….a HUGE thank you to everyone who came out. I had a blast. I can’t think of a better way to spend a Sunday.

It’s great to see our members come out to support a great cause. I am consistently impressed by your willingness to help others in need.

This 5 week cycle is going to be a great chance to get stronger across the board. If you really push yourself on the lifts and the met cons, next month you will be shocked at how strong you’ve become. I’m ready for some hard work!

I’m so pissed I missed this! I ended up having to work – man I missed out! Can’t wait for you to do this again!
