Today is not about going to the beach, cookouts or a day off from work. It is about remembering all the men and women who have given their service to this country. In memory of Navy Lieutenant Michael Murphy,29, who was killed in Afghanistan June 28th, 2005. This was one of Mike’s favorite workouts and it has been referred to as “Murph” in honor of the focused warrior and great American who wanted nothing more in life than to serve this great country and the beautiful who make it what it is.
