    Ok everybody! The CrossFit Wilmington Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Club, or the (CFWBJJC), as I like to call it is IN FULL EFFECT!!!

    TIME: Tuesdays and Thursdays 1-2pm

    PLACE: CrossFit Wilmington on the huge rolling mats that everyone keeps asking about.

    COST: $30 per month if your a CFW Member / $40 per month if you’re a non CFW member. $7 drop in fee if just visiting.

    RULES:

    1. Sign a waiver.
    2. Pay into the box at the front desk (checks made to Aaron Lawrence, since I’m managing this for CFW).
    3. TAKE CARE OF YOU TRAINING PARTNER!!!
    4. Be clean and wear fresh clothes (Gi or no-gi) nobody likes to roll with Nasty McGross.
    5. Men and Women are welcome over the age of 16 ( WE ARE JUST BODIES ON THE MAT! )
    6. Leave bad attitudes and Egos at the door, we all learn from each other there are no “set instructors” for this club.
    7. Be prepared to roll, roll, roll, Then drill drill drill and then roll again! Oh and have fun.

    Yes I understand that the times for the sessions are not the greatest. Tony and I are working on adding at least one other time that will be more workable for the masses. I myself may not be able to make every Tuesday and Thursday 100% of the time as this is set for my lunch hour during my day job, which is why it’s set up as a club so people can just come in and train without need for a lesson plan day in and day out.

    It’s live on Youtube now too. These clips are great examples power and strength… not necessarily perfect technique. You ladies are moving serious weights. As we continue to tune up your technique you will see much better weights. Oly lifting is an everyday thing if you even want to be considered good at it.

    I poo poo’d all you people and your silly long socks for the rope climbs. But today I broke out the old soccer socks and it was MUCH better. Although I burned some skin off my shin, it didn’t even get to the bone!
