  Having a good Labor Day?
We hope so.  Here’s a little something you can do at home, the park, or the loop if you’d like.  Or make something up…  just do something! 

WOD: 4 rounds for time…

  • 5 burpees
  • 5 air squats
  • 5 push ups
  • 400 meter run   

Labor defined:   1.) productive activity; work  2.)  to perform labor; exert one’s powers of body or mind; toil. 3.) elevated levels of exertion often associated with pain

I’m gonna go with number three.  And I’m going to guess that Tuesday will be more "labor" intensive for most.  Wait, Wednesday is going to be painful too.  I think it’s fair to say that every day is Labor Day at CFW.  Do something healthy today!

    Just finished the WOD with what felt like a very slow 11:29…….felt like a long run…..see you guys tomorrow!

    Don O. checked in… who else? If you do a workout, tell us about. H*ll, if you don't and you just go out on the water and have too much to drink, tell us about that too. Lord knows I'll appreciate your story!

    Did my usual Saturday run today. 1.8 miles timed. I live on a dirt road hence the weird distance. Finished in 13:40. Not a great time, but faster than the last.

    Went diving fri and sat. Spent 3.5 hours underwater on sat. Shot lots of fish. Went for a 56 mile bike ride with the Bike cycle guys on sun. Drank too much on the sand bar yesterday afternoon. Today I am taking a rest.

    Hey! I have a friend in town who is doing triathlon next Saturday, I did a workout with them at 5:30 this mornin'. Swim 500 meters, bike 8 1/2 miles, run 2 miles. I killed it. Couldn't have done it without CF training. They talked me into doing the tri with them next weekend – it should be interesting!

    Went out on the boat back home. Ran 400 meters did the most of the warm up but instead of ohs did extra air squats and did jump tucks instead of box jumps. Also did my burpees for the challenge. didnt drink anything, just did all this in the surf breakin on the sandbar we were on.

    Put the kids to bed, marked off 200m and ran through the workout. Hope everyone had a great weekend! Let's hit it hard this week. Dont forget to catch up on your burpees
