Dude, what are you thinking. 100 times of deadlift in a row. your crazy man, but hey thats why i love ya and this gym, because honestly i would never do some crap like that on my own.

  2. Hub says:

I think my body is more sore from the bruises I got falling down on every turkish get up than it is from actual muscle soreness…that sucked yesterday.

CrossFit Lesson #3123: Sitting at a desk all day after 100 deadlifts makes standing tricky.

  4. Shawn K says:

I came in at 15mins. Deadlifts are my weakest lift. Clint however set the bar at 8:15 followed by Steve at just over 10 mins.

  5. Shawn K says:

Yeah, I stormed out of the gate with 20-25 and then hit a wall. 4 quarter-deadlifts = 1 full deadlift right?

  6. Sensei says:

whoa whoa whoa!! easy on the bad mouthing….If you are not yet able to do the WOD as Rx'd then scale it back! No one should get injured from ANY WOD POSTED! if done correctly and at your pace that pushes YOU personally then you will gain benefit! CHILL… NO NAME!!

  7. Darren says:

Ok so I gotta correct somethings, 1 clint was 8:45, 2 Joel has the best time right now with 8:22 and me to follow at 8:27. And for the comment that someone mad about getting hurt. Well that why we stay on you to make sure you keep proper form. Ask anyone who worksout at our gym that we drive that home… and To do this workout with proper form is really good for you since you are working on your back and legs. but I bet your brain hurts from just thinking of that comment.

  8. Shawn K says:

I'd be surprised if "no name" was a CFW regular (unless it’s someone just trying to get Darren riled up). All the regulars scale as needed (both up and down). You can Google "100 deadlifts" and find many others doing similar workouts ranging from bodyweight to above 225. Difficulty does not equate absurdity.

Crossfit Wilmington has not any fitness or exercises related injuries (other than a meathead rackin' his shin) due to instruction or our WOD's in the time it has been open. When proper exercise form and technique are taught and USED correctly, the benifits are overwhelming. Our members are also smart enough to scale as needed and are encouraged to due to age or ability. BUT, we do not and will not baby our athletes. If you want that crap, find a yogi who will teach you to throw ninja stars

You know what I like about our gym….and I emphasize it's our gym, is that there is someone there always to push me past what I believe is my wall….and to yell in my ear to arch my back or push from my heels or keep my head up or to get that last five dead lifts….I don't like when someone posts a obvious dig on OUR GYM…..If you don't like the workout don't do it…if you think your going to get hurt don't do it and have some balls to identify yourself…..Also I have some vagisil if you need it……Mr. NO NAME

  11. KC says:

I've been rubbing vagisil on my hamstring for some time now but was able to do this WOD as RX'd..Granted the bar doesn't have to travel far…

Come guys… don’t be so mean. You have to accept the fact 98% of the US population are sheep. Sheep will always have their young taken by wolves. Be proud you workout at a den.
