OLYMPIC Weightlifting Seminar at CFNC (Raleigh) with C.J. Stockel of Team Georgia Weightlifting!

CrossFitNC is proud to have C.J. Stockel of Team Georgia Weightlifting back for another Olympic Lifting Seminar.  Our members and friends have been asking when we would bring C.J. back after the huge success we experienced at his seminar last year.  Team Georgia Weightlifting is one of the premier USA Weightlfiting Clubs on the East Coast, and its sole mission is to promote the fundamentals and principles of Olympic weightlfting to coaches, athletes, and enthusiasts.

When:  July 26-27, 2008
Location:  CrossFitNC, Raleigh, North Carolina
Registration:  $100 per attendee, all registrations submitted in advance. (Seminar Limited to 30 per day)

Lindsay is a very fast study.  Here she is just passed full extension and about to pull herself under a hang clean.  Couple that quick learning with some natural athletic ability and drive…   you get the basic ingredients for the making of a monster.

WOD: "Murph"

  • 1 mile Run
  • 100 Pull-ups
  • 200 Push-ups
  • 300 Squats
  • 1 mile Run
For time.
Partition the pull-ups, push-ups, and squats as needed. Start and finish with a mile run.

  1. Karen (The chic from Holden Beach) says:

It figures I'd come back into town (after taking two weeks off)on the day of Murph. Thanks Tony.

  2. Sensei says:

Oh, I saw it coming! I thought it was gonna be Mondays WOD when T said Multiples of 100. I like how this time it says "partition as needed" WHATEVER!! only real CF'ers do it AS POSTED!! ….I'm just mad cause I did it last time as posted and now I have to do it the same to track my progress. Next time I will partition. 🙂 Oh, and I am doing it tomorrow cause I am out today.

  3. Sensei says:

LOL, Thanks Justin, You are one funny dude. I understand now that partitioning gives you a more beneficial workout, however this time I need to do it the same as last time to compare apples to apples.

  4. Shawn K says:

I partitioned the crap out of it… that wasn't what hurt me. The 1 mile bookends were my time sink thanks to my "less-than-stellar" running.

  5. Justin says:

haha, you're supposed to partition as needed. go look on crossfit.com. You can thank your better time partly on improved mental conditioning (knowing me).

  6. Andrew says:

What's the top time so far?

Just for the record, I've been calling this one all week haha.

  7. Andrew says:

To be honest I was expecting both, but I'm thinking there are still two days left in the week…
