This Wednesday, 18 June at 6:00pm, we’ve been invited to train with Glenn McCarroll, triathlon coach and Wrightsville Beach Lifeguard, for a swimming/CFW workout at the beach.  Meet at Tower 11 next to the Oceanic’s pier at 5:50pm.  Bring your swim goggles!  You don’t have to be an awesome swimmer.  Like everything we do, the swim can be scaled too.

Check out Glenn’s site – www.glennsworkouts.spaces.live.com

This was only an attempt to make myself physically fit enough to endure long games of checkers, go fish and the daily naps. The gear is only designed for protection from the unruly cats we have to get out of trees!!!

  4. Tony says:

Now that i'm done puking over the army's bday. When the fire department starts wearing their gear every day for a whole shift instead of during workouts and the occasional accident where they get to go racing across town(like a policeman…interesting), that's when i'll wear my gear for a WOD.
