"Fight Gone Bad"

Wall-ball: 20 pound ball – 10 ft target
Sumo deadlift high-pull – 75lbs
Box Jump – 20" box
Push-press – 75lbs
Row

In this workout you move from each of five stations after a minute. This is a five-minute round from which a one-minute break is allowed before repeating.  The clock does not reset or stop between exercises. On call of "rotate," the athlete moves to next station immediately. One point is given for each rep, except on the rower where each calorie is one point.

Thanks for scoring for me Kate…I think I need to pace myself a little more next time…maybe I should have taken your advice.

Great job am crew on FGB. Thanks for all the help with scoring and coaching it up! 15+ people before 7am for FGB, Whew!

  3. Kate says:

great job everyone!! I'll be back in tonight @ 5:30 to actually DO FGB not just score! had to run to work this morning.

I don't know what caused the rush on the 6am time slot this morning but it was pretty fun. Walt? Where were ya man?

I would have to agree with Shawn about this morning, it was fun. It was great seeing so many new crossfitters do FGB for the first time.
As for myself I was not happy. I scored a 269 (274 last time). I don't know why but I died on the SDHP and the last round was pretty tough. I was happy with my push press though. Congrats to all the first timers for giving FGB a go and Congrats to Maria for finishing the Boston Marathon.

  6. Shawn K says:

Maria, don't be thinking the little run you did yesterday is any kind of excuse to miss FGB today… 🙂

  7. Shawn K says:

Is that after the required 50pt deduction for him being able to touch the wallball mark flat-footed? Great job Aaron! Incredible.

For those of you who didn't get a chance to do FGB and want to I'll be running it myself at 2 if there are any takers. And then doing the WOD of the day.. I also want to say congrats to everyone who ran FGB today.. Nice work. And to Zach great job man.. If we arent in the same heat for the Qualifier you know you got me..

I'm finally home…thanks for all the comments and support I passed a crossfit Boston sign on the race and managed a little thumbs up I think. Definitely didn't get the time I wanted, but after experiencing that race I am not disappointed. It was definitely the hardest thing I have EVER done. I had to talk myself out of crying and quitting on several occasions. The only reason I didn't was because I didn't think I could find my hotel room. The best description of that race and course is that it is HUMBLING. Miss you guys—I'll see you next week(ish). Hey Tracy I ran into JJ on the course!!

  10. DC says:

Maria I know you would haven't even quit if you had seen your hotel.. Your will and mind would not have let you.. Nor the voices for all of us who were there with you.. GREAT JOB!!

Great Job Zach and Sensei! and all of you FGBers- Jill too! Kate, cool of you to give up your workout to help the team: Spirit-o-CrossFit. And Maria, we are so proud of you! That is one serious and intimidating race. You were amongst the best runners in the world, AND NO DOUBT YOU WERE STRONGER THAN ALL OF THEM! Go girl!
