Coordination, balance, power, and strength. Heavy jump squats develop all that AND leave ya seeing stars… way to push it Cody. You're strong boy!

  2. Noelle says:

Whoooa. Sensei… I like it! But uh, I see people running through FIRE as part of the course? Looks like we're going to have to start incorporating that into our WODs… I'ma need some practice on that one…

  3. Abby says:

And THEN Cody Killed the Metcon! fun to work around people like THIS! I am in for the RELAY FOR LIFE!!!! I can try for 100 with you Scott!

  4. Scott S says:

Josh – I am 100% in for the Relay for Life. I think I walked 68 laps last year – not good enough for 2010! I want to challenge anyone to do 100 laps with me this year. We have something like 20 hours, so how hard can it be?? I will put in $50 for every person on our team that will join me.

  5. drew says:

Scott, count me in. Also sensei, that looks AMAZING, count me in for 2011, especially the one in DC, that would be awesome. I just signed up for the relay for life team also.

  6. Matt says:

Sensei I was just looking at a race like that in Maryland. Check out http://www.warriordash.com/ There is one in Atlanta in May but its already sold out. Im going to try and get into the race in Maryland in October. Both these races look hella fun

  7. Sensei says:

I JUST PUNCHED MY DOG IN THE FACE! Due to my absolute excitement…. Let's keep looking at this Tough Mudder thing and see what we can do!

  8. Angela says:

Woohoo…Toughmudder…Sensei, Drew, Matt or whoever else is interested… I see that you can enter as a team. My recommendation is that we pick a race and put together a CFW team. This would be extremely challenging, thus, fun. AND as supportive as everyone at CFW is and as hard as we push one another, our CFW team would kick butt.

  9. Rachel says:

Josh – Blaine and I are signed up. Scott not sure we can go for 100 laps. I wonder how many laps a 4 yr old can walk?

  10. Matt says:

It looks like the only Tough Mudder event on the east coast in 2010 is in PA on May 2nd. Looks like it'd be a ton of fun. Anyone up for going?

  11. Julie G. says:

t I will check into the adventure races. They sound fun and tough. I am in for the USMC Ultimate Challenge Mud Run, Columbia S.C.as well September 25th. Cary is alot closer to travel.

  12. Drew says:

t- I have a Army comrade who does those. He actually just qualified for the Best Ranger Challenge this year through one of those adventure races. They are really big in the Raleigh/Charlotte area, and pretty "functional", hah. I have always wanted to give one a try.
