    Olympic / Power Lifting Classes

     Crossfit Wilmington will be offering Olympic lifting (clean, snatch, jerk) and Power lifting (squats, deadlifts, press) classes. If you really want to accelerate your fitness program and increase your power, strength, agility, flexibility and coordination come take these classes! 
     The Olympic, or fast lifts, bring power to your training. These lifts are explosive and done very quickly. And when done in form and with proper technique, are very efficient for moving relative heavy weight. 
    The Power, or slow lifts, train and increase an athlete’s strength. These lifts are slow and controlled and develop midline stability (core) strength and balance.
    Class schedule:
    Saturday: 10:00am    Tuesday: 7:00pm
    This Saturday’s (23 Feb) lift will be the Clean.
    The classes are limited to 8 participants per class and will be approximately one hour.   A signup sheet is posted in the office, or you can email us and let us know you plan to attend.
    At this time, the classes will not interfere with regular gym hours or the WOD. However, the classes will have priority of space and equipment.
