To celebrate Valentine’s Day, we are putting together a Valentine’s Couple’s WOD for tomorrow. We will be giving away prizes and gift Certificates to the top scoring Couple’s. Couple’s can be married, dating or just someone you want to workout with.
Nutrition Class February 20th
There will be a nutrition class Wednesday, February 20th at 6:00pm. This class is for anyone interested in learning about healthy food choices and improving your overall health, recovery, and performance. Class will be held on the second floor of our facility, next to Joro Yoga. Cost is $40.
We now offer a dedicated child care, staffed by certified child care professionals, to entertain the kids while mom and dad get fit. It will give you couples who have wanted to train together, the freedom to do so. As for all you’re friends that have said they’d love to do CrossFit but can’t because of the kids… tell them their time has come! Read all the details here
The child care hours will cover our class times most popular with moms and dads.
- Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays: 9am-10am & 5pm-7pm
- Saturdays: 9am-12pm
- $5.00 per child per visit
- Unlimited visits per month $40 for one child, $60 for two or more.
2013 Reebok Crossfit Open
Registration is now open for the 2013 Crossfit Open. The 2013 Reebok CrossFit Games season is a three-stage test of fitness, comprised of the Open, Regionals, and the world championships, the CrossFit Games.
We are setting up two teams for the open this year. Crossfit Wilmington Team A will be headed up by Cody and comprised of our athlete’s who have been training together over the last three months. Team Crossfit Wilmington will be headed up by Josh and will be comprised of Crossfit Wilmington instructors and member’s.

Best Student Athlete
CrossFit Wilmington is proud to team up with Fox New Wilmington and the US Army to sponser the Wilmington area’s Best Student Athlete Competition March 23, here at CFW.
USAW Level 1 Sports Performance Coaches Course
We are proud to announce that we are hosting a USAW Level 1 Sports Performance Coaches Course on June 29th and 30th, 2013.
The purpose of this course is to take all participants through complete technical progressions of the Snatch, Clean & Jerk, and all associated movements including Power Snatch, Power Clean, Power Jerk, Squat variations, and pulling progressions. Participants will gain base line knowledge about the programming of training and technical rules. The course includes theoretical classroom, and practical hands-on portions. Course duration is over one weekend and lasts approximately 13-14 hours with up to 9 hours being practical and 4-5 hours lecture based. It is suitable for Strength & Conditioning /Sports Performance, Health & Fitness and beginning level competitive Weightlifting Coaches alike.
