Happy New Year CFW!!!! WOW what an amazing year we have had! We have helped so many beyond the walls of CFW…. Think about that strangers coming to a strange place looking for something …. and what you get at the end of the day is the CFW family!!!….. My High School Football Coach use to say if you can come together for 20 min a day to challenge yourself with a group of strangers for something greater than yourself you can impact the world….. Thank you all for your support in the charities that we support the families and service members that you have all helped.

No GOODS challenge to you all for 2012…..TOP IT….BOOM that just happened!!!!!

So I was lucky enough to meet a BMF from CFW. I met this gentleman briefly, but quickly came to admire his commitment, to not only GPP, but his own person. After meeting t, I too made a dilligent, self honest effort to check myself. I don’t know what the was wrong with me, but after meeting a true American, I was ashamed at the state of not only my physical, but my mental state. I feel like my true savage self again, and I am stronger and faster than ever. My life has improved, and I owe it to nothing nore than looking at the ethos of CFW, and reminding myself who the I really am. AMFKB!!!! I admire ALL of the men and women that affirm thier abilities like our good friend can. Happy New Year. GO!!!

No doubt 2011 was a great year. Everyone readng this blog is stronger, both mentally and physically, than they were a year ago. We can all look back at specific achievements but it is the body of work that we should all be proud of. First of all, we SHOWED UP and secondly, we gave every ounce of energy we had during those WODs. I am proud every time I walk into the box and see the level of commitment every person there is displaying.

Now on to something fun. Every New Year’s Day since 1988 I swim in the ocean and today is no exception! The water is warm (56 degrees) and the sun is shining. I am going to be at Asheville St on Wrightsville Beach at noon. Bring a bite to eat if you like and we will enjoy being alive.

We’ll be at the gym for a quick workout at 4pm this afternoon if anyone wants to come in.

Been a long while bud. We handed out water together in PAP. I was the awesome one from Texas. But no shit, I Love cross fit. It has helped me in sooo many ways, but mostly an increased sense of self respect and discipline. Especially with my own vice. I enjoy your posts and the contagious enthusiasm CFW members appear to have. I crossfit with a small group, and draw much motivation and inspiration for harder workouts from the studs at CFW. I will see u again t.

We did good things at CFW in 2011 and we can plan on some great things in 2012. We have So many success stories here. Let’s make it a goal to constantly improve in the new year. Every day get better at something, because if you aren’t getting better you are falling behind. CFW and its staff is here to help you every step of the way. Keep up the good work folks and kick ass in 2012.

Oh hell yeah… THE Jimmy B***. Right on Bro. Thanks for hitting us up. CFW, Jimmy is as hard as it gets. I wish you guys had the opportunity to meet him…

Jimmy, I know what you’re saying about CrossFit helping with vices. It’s tough trying to do CrossFit (or at least be good at it) all poisoned up. I heard from mutual buds what you’re up in TX. I was glad to hear things were good for you. Come visit some time. Anytime.
