Man, what a kick in the face. We will all miss you John. Let's all do our best to release the sadness of his death, and CELEBRATE the fact that he LIVED! My Jeep has crapped out on me so I am utterly utterly vehicleless I should be able to come to the box at around five today, Can't wait to do this one. Much Love to all!

matt– John was killed in a car crash when a criminal led police on a chase in fayetteville, and stuck johns car in an intersection. He was heading to his box when it happened. Sad, sad situation.

I remember John from the Crossfit gymnastics course we went to at Cherry Point. What happened? I checked the Cape Fear site and couldn't find any specifics. It's been a tough Christmas season for a lot of us with many losses. Don't take time with your families for granted.

I am sure Don O. has mentioned this but Chik-Fil-A on Oleander approached WPD about a fundraiser for Sgt. Jody McPherson who recently died of brain cancer. This Thursday evening they are donating 15% of all proceedes to his twin boys' college funds. Come out, have a PALEO chicken salad(!) and support our fallen brother's kids. Thanks so much.

It's an exaggerated hollow rock ending on your feet and a jump like a burpee. Start standing, sitback to your butt, roll back to shoulder blades and then rock back to feet and jump. Simpler than it sounds.

This was an excellent WoD. Perfect way to pay honor to our friend. Thank you John. Did any of you look at all the names on the board? WOW, I must apologize up front for not having the capacity to remember each name with each new face. Awesome to see everyone tonight!
