Burger Topped with Egg and Blue Cheese
Last night, I came home late. I was tired and hungry. I simultaneously opened the fridge and the freezer, hoping a fully-prepared meal would jump out at me. I had no such luck. But what did stand out was the box of Sweet Onion Bubba Burgers in the freezer and the carton of eggs in the fridge. I grabbed them, along with the blue cheese and some steamer broccoli and got to work.
Preheat your grill.
The Bubba Burgers are really easy and cook from frozen. Just put them on the grill and leave them alone for about 7 minutes or so. When you see the juice start to come out of the top, they’re ready to flip.
When you turn the burger, put some blue cheese crumbles on the top and close the grill again.
Also, after you turn the burger, start frying your egg. I used olive oil for the lube, and cooked the egg over medium.
When the egg is finished cooking, it’ll be about time to pull the burger off the grill.
Plate it, put the egg directly on top of the blue cheese and enjoy.
PS. I put the broccoli in the microwave after I put the burger on the grill. It gave me something to do while I waited to turn the burger.
If you time everything right, you’ll be done cooking in about 10 minutes.
