Valentines Couples Challenge

To celebrate Valentine’s Day, we have put together two special Valentine’s Couple’s WOD’s. We will be giving away gift Certificates to the top scoring Couple’s for each WOD. Couple’s can be married, dating or just someone you want to workout with.



New member Doug W. performing side step ups.  The side step up is a great lower body structural balance exercise that prevents injury and strengthens the muscles along the inside of the leg.

New member, Doug W., performing side step ups. The side step up is a great lower body, structural balance exercise that helps prevent injury and increase performance by correcting imbalances between the adductor muscles along the inside of the leg, and the TFL, the muscle that runs along the outside of the upper leg.  If your knees “buckel” inward when you squat, this is one of the exercises we use to correct it.



Couple’s Event #1
With a continuously running clock, complete the following for Total Reps…
2 min Burpee Box Jumps (20 All)
2 min Row for Calories
2 min Thruster 45lbs
2 min Slam Balls
2 min 10m Sprints
Record Total # of Reps
*Only one person working at a time

Rest 5 min

Couple’s Event #2
Complete as much work as possible in 10 minutes of…
100 Wallballs (20/10)
300 Singles
100 KB Swings (16/12)
Tie Breaker: If any time remains complete AMRAP of Burpee’s
Record Total # of Reps
*Only one person working at a time

    Cant wait to do this WOD with my sweetheart! 😉 ha All seriousness, this is a great opportunity to work together with someone, communication is key here!

    Exactly one year ago today I got my first taste of a real crossfit workout with great instruction that led me into a life style change. I cannot thank everyone enough for opening their arms and making me feel like home!
