2012 CFW Team Challenge

By Josh | In Today's Workout | on October 14, 2012

4th Annual CFW Team Challenge  It’s time for another running of our badass Team Challenge!

Sign-ups will start today and run through this Friday. We will divide the gym into teams of 8-10 consisting of CFW Instructors and Members. Each week you will compete in 2-3 workouts and be scored / ranked by your team’s overall performance (and participation) on each WOD. The workouts will have built in scalability, so everyone can compete. Sign-up sheets will be located in the lobby. Team’s will be drawn on Saturday.

Lidia, so glad that I was able to join you at the games to cheer you on this year and can’t wait to do it again next year. However, next year you WILL be on the podium. Thrilled that we can still train together!

A big welcome to the camp Lidia!
It appears Josh and I will have our hands full coaching our Games athletes this year. Sadly, we are losing, Tanner, who has played a pivotal role in our top finishes the last two years and will be VERY missed. However, we have picked up a few new monsters, both male and female, that will undoubtedly make up a Games level team. Lidia will get her podium finish and if I can help, the top spot in her division.

Each of our athletes have been following their own personalized training programs for the last few months. They have been correcting their weaknesses, rehabbing slight injuries, and in most of their cases, getting strong as hell. In a few weeks they’ll begin their organized training for the 2013 Games and submit to the sacrifices it takes to Games level competitors.

They say 13 is an “unlucky” number… I’ve never considered luck a factor in crushing opponents.
